Beginner Friendly Bike Rides
Place: Flag Poles in front of the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center, 360 N Arroyo Blvd, Pasadena 91103

Please arrive a few minutes early so that you can get your bike out of the car and be ready to ride at 8:30

Race Rehearsals (2 dates)
The race rehearsals will go over race preparation and a bike to run and run to bike transition practice. The practice is to familiarize the athlete with the race conditions and help them learn what it is like on race day.
This event is hosted by the Pasadena Tri Club and there will be experienced triathletes on site to help with the bike and run and answer any questions that you may have.
Place: Rose Bowl Parking Lot K (just west of the front of the Rose Bowl)1001 Rose Bowl Dr, Pasadena 91103
Time: 12 Noon
Date: January 28 and February 25th.
What to Expect: There will be a 15 minute talk about preparing for your race day, followed by the bike/run practice session. PLEASE BE ON TIME.
What to Bring: This is a race rehearsal. You will need your bike, bike helmet, bike shoes and running shoes. Please make sure that your tires are pumped up and that your bike gears work. You should wear what you will be wearing race day and/or clothes that you can bike and run in.
Intro to Triathlon
The Intro to Tri will cover the basics of Triathlon with a focus on the Pasadena Triathlon.

Pasadena Triathlon Club is hosting this event. We’ll talk about the in’s and out’s of transition area for the bike portion and run portion of the triathlon. You’ll actually try it out. Practice make perfect!

Time: 2pm Please be 15 minutes early
Overview: Clinic start with a 10 minute overview of the event course, transition, layout ext. We will explain the physical demand of the swim on the athletes body. especially given that is this a reverse tri and after the event there will be a question and answer period for about 15 minutes for anyone that needs more info or help.
The swim groups will be divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Beginner focus: building confidence and competence. Stroke Skills
Intermediate – some stroke work but focus on longer sets, stroke drills, pack swimming and deep water entry coming up doing freestyle.
Advanced – pack swimming, sighting, water entry with coming up and doing freesytle and some stroke work
Materials will be passed out after the class so that one can do drills and swim on their own.
